Congratulations to Mark Krinke of White Bear Lake, Minnesota. He won the raffle, which took place today, and is now the proud recipient of the Trident Spike, a trike that has received rave reviews for its higher seating position, its dynamic steering and its super-light alloy frame.
The winning raffle ticket was drawn by the winner of the tandem bike race, which took place today, February 23, 2011 in the back parking lot of Trike Shoppe. A great group of fellow tandem enthusiasts, members of the Lighthouse of Broward, Dory Horowitz, special populations coordinator at Broward County Parks and Recreation division, and press members from the Sun Sentinel were all on-hand to witness the event.
Also on hand was Mike Wall of Sun Bicycles, who graciously donated one tandem for Lighthouse of Broward's tandem cycling program. Proceeds from the sale of the Trident Spike raffle tickets raised enough money to purchase three other tandems for the Lighthouse of Broward's tandem bicycling program. Thanks to everyone, who bought a raffle ticket and helped contribute to the successful launching of this program.
