About Trike Shoppe, LLC
Trike Shoppe, LLC is the brain child of Cynthia Paddock Doroghazi and Stephen Doroghazi, both of whom are growing older and getting smarter. Although Steve and Cynthia are both disabled, they have lived their lives as non-disabled people trying to survive in a non-disabled world. Their decision to ride trikes versus a two-wheel bike is based upon two, independent realizations: their understanding of the inherent safety and convenience of riding trikes and the fact that Cynthia must ride a trike due to her balance problems. For more information on Cynthia, check out her book, Searching for the Open Door: A Woman's Struggle for Survival after a Traumatic Brain Injury. Cynthia and Stephen Doroghazi formed trike shoppe to promote awareness of this very fun and unique type of transportation. The fact that this mode of transportation is extremely cost-effective in an era in which the price of gas is clearly headed north to $4.00 a gallon yet again, clearly makes the timing of a this venture very appropriate. The goal of Trike Shoppe, LLC is to have one place where people of all ages and physical abilities can come and experience trike fun on their own in a no-pressure environment.
Trike Shoppe, LLC is owned by persons with disabilities. Consequently, we fully understand the importance of buying the right recumbent trike or adult tricycle.
